🧴 Usage tips
⚠️ Bit size is given in millimetres: this is the width of the mouthpiece from one ring to the other. A 125 measures 12.5 cm. Measure your horse's mouth with a bit ruler, or use the measurement of the bit it wears: if too wide, the bit moves around and pinches; if too narrow, it tightens the corners of the mouth. ⚠️ With a single rein, a connector strap is needed between the large ring and the lower ring. A curb chain is essential. ⚠️ Check the mouthpiece regularly: when positioned correctly on the bars, it rarely becomes damaged, but a sharp tooth can nick it.
