- ✔ An elastic material that is harder than Port Medium and difficult to flex. The tongue port reduces pressure on the center of the tongue.
- ✔ A cross between a bridle and a Pelham: it provides the effect of a double bridle without its complexity. It is preferably used with two reins: the cheekpiece of the snaffle bridle and one of the two reins are attached to the large loose ring to create the snaffle effect.

🧴 Usage advice
⚠️ Bit size is given in millimeters: it is the width of the mouthpiece from one ring to the other. A 125 measures 12.5 cm. Measure your horse's mouth with a bit measuring gauge, or use the measurement of the bit it wears: if it is too wide, the bit moves around and pinches; if it is too narrow, it pinches the corners of the mouth. ⚠️ A curb chain is essential. ⚠️ Check the mouthpiece regularly: when correctly positioned on the bars, it rarely gets damaged, but a sharp tooth can nick it.
