It is by far the lightest option in the selection: five to eight times lighter than a gel pad. On a horse already carrying a lot, that makes a difference. ⚠️ A saddle pad cannot correct a saddle that does not fit. If it compensates for a saddle that is too wide or too narrow, the saddle needs adjusting—not the addition of a pad: if used incorrectly, it moves the problem rather than solving it.
🧴 Care instructions
Place the pad on a clean, dry back, positioned well up into the saddle’s gullet to clear the withers, then check that there are no folds beneath the panels. Rinse the gel with clean water and leave it to dry flat in the shade.
