This ERA fly veil first fulfills the expected function of a fly veil: keeping flies and gnats out of the ears, thereby preventing the horse from shaking its head while working. It also features detachable neoprene inserts placed in the ears to reduce ambient noise.

Its ears are made of stretch fabric, so they fit all ear lengths. Its crocheted cotton mesh is breathable. Reference ATB251005.

✨ Key features

  • ✔ Keeps insects out: the horse stops shaking its head while working
  • ✔ Detachable noise-reducing neoprene: use it when needed
  • ✔ Stretch ears: they adjust without compressing, regardless of length
  • ✔ Breathable and elegant crocheted cotton mesh
  • ✔ Lightweight, for training and competition

📋 Technical specifications

  • Reference: ATB251005
  • Mesh: crocheted cotton
  • Ears: stretch fabric, detachable noise-reducing neoprene

🐎 Why choose this product?

Its elastic ears accommodate differences in conformation, which is the primary criterion for a fly veil that stays securely in place. The detachable neoprene is an added feature: many horses will never need it, and the fly veil performs its role perfectly without it.

🧴 Care instructions

If you use the inserts, introduce them gradually. ⚠️ Once the fly veil is in place, check that the base of the ears is not compressed: a fly veil that is too short makes the horse shake its head, exactly what we were trying to avoid. Hand wash, rinse the neoprene with clean water, and dry flat.

Composition: crocheted cotton, stretch fabric, neoprene.
