Like any fly bonnet, this one first prevents flies and gnats from getting into the ears — and therefore stops the horse from shaking its head during work. It adds a second function: its ears are made of neoprene, a dense material that reduces background noise.
For a nervous or easily distracted horse — by the audience, the sound system, or applause — this genuinely helps maintain concentration. The rest of the bonnet is ventilated. Reference ATB17009.

🐎 Why choose this product?
A horse that is distracted by noise cannot be corrected through work: it simply hears too much. Neoprene does not make the horse deaf; it reduces noise enough that background sounds no longer overpower the rider's voice. This is the additional function provided here alongside protection against insects.
🧴 Instructions for use
Introduce it gradually: a horse that suddenly hears less may initially become concerned. ⚠️ Check that the ears are not compressed at their base. Hand wash; rinse the neoprene with clean water and dry in the shade.
Composition: neoprene, textile.
