The elastic lacing at the front and the shaft’s elastic insert let the calf move without the boot gaping. The curved zipper runs along the entire side, making the boot easy to put on and preventing strain on the ankle.

A boot is chosen based on three measurements, not one: shoe size, calf circumference and shaft height. The Maximus offers each separately, making it possible to find the right fit without resorting to a custom-made boot.
🧴 Care instructions
Remove mud with a damp sponge and leave to dry for 24 hours in the open air — never near a radiator or in direct sunlight, as the leather could become brittle. Brush the zippers regularly and lubricate them if they catch. Then apply a leather care product to the clean boot.
