This small bridle is designed for the smallest breeds. The high-quality supple leather stays beautiful for a long time. The headpiece, noseband, and straight browband are padded to prevent pressure on a sensitive head. The padded flash noseband is generously cushioned and fitted with a protective flap strap over the buckle; the cheekpieces have concealed fastenings.

A pony bridle is not simply a scaled-down horse bridle: head proportions are different, and a model that is too large will hang loose instead of fitting securely. This model is shaped for small breeds, including Shetlands.
🧴 Care instructions
Clean the leather with glycerin soap after each use, then condition it regularly. ⚠️ Never dry it near a heat source: the leather will harden and crack. Check the stitching and buckles, as these are the parts that fail first. ⚠️ Fitting: the noseband should sit two fingers below the cheekbone, and you should be able to fit two flat fingers between it and the nose. An overly tight noseband prevents the horse from chewing, which goes against the comfort intended here.
