The BR Weymouth Heywood double bridle is designed for use with two bits, with each part staying in place without creating unnecessary pressure. The Italian leather is supple from the very first use. The padded anatomical headpiece relieves sensitive areas behind the ears. The 20 mm noseband features 50 mm of anatomical central padding that distributes pressure without adding bulk to the profile. The wide, padded chin strap ensures a secure fit around the jaw.

A double bridle carries two bits in the same mouth and two pairs of reins in the same hand: anything that moves or presses unevenly has twice the impact. That is why this model focuses on stable positioning and a slim noseband that leaves room for the cheekpieces of the curb bridle. The supplier recommends it for high-level dressage. ⚠️ Bits are not included.
🧴 Care instructions
Clean the leather with glycerin soap after each use, then condition it regularly. ⚠️ Never dry it near a heat source: the leather will harden and crack. Check the stitching and buckles, as these are the parts most likely to fail first. The crystals are set deeply; nevertheless, avoid rubbing the browband with an abrasive product. ⚠️ Adjustment: position the noseband two fingers below the cheekbone, and you should be able to fit two flat fingers between it and the nasal bone. A noseband that is too tight prevents the horse from chewing, which runs counter to the comfort this bridle is designed to provide.
