🔎 Choosing the right noseband
This bridle comes with its standard noseband: 822 Caveson Special with Flash Strap. You can replace it when ordering with one of the interchangeable Passier nosebands available under the “Noseband” option. The labels use the Passier name and article number, as shown on passier.com.
- Caveson Special: anatomical French noseband with a pull-back closure and a keeper for the noseband throatlash. Available in a white-lined version, with patent trim, or with rhinestones.
- Flash Noseband: combined noseband, French-style with a throatlash. The “More Room for the Cheekbone” models clear the cheekbone and facial nerve.
- Dropped Noseband: German (Hanoverian) noseband that passes beneath the bit.
- Figure 8 Noseband: crossed (Mexican) figure-eight noseband.
Any noseband other than the standard version is made to order by Passier: the alteration fee (€12) and any difference in the noseband price are already included in the displayed price of the variant. Nosebands 816, 819, 844, and 954 are only available in the sizes actually manufactured by Passier, which is why some sizes are unavailable for these models. Allow approximately 30 days for manufacture.
