With a single-piece combination noseband, tightening the lower strap also tightens the upper section: the result is often pressure on the nasal bridge to keep the mouth closed. The double noseband separates these two actions, allowing for a comfortable high noseband and an adjusted lower strap. This is the most precise configuration in the range.
🧴 Usage advice
⚠️ Always adjust the high noseband first, two fingers below the cheekbone with one finger's width of looseness, then adjust the lower strap, also leaving one finger's width. If it is too tight, the lower strap prevents the horse from chewing. Care for it with glycerin soap, followed by leather grease.
