🔎 Choosing the right noseband

This bridle is supplied with its standard noseband: 957 Caveson Special with padded Flash Strap Loop. At the time of ordering, you can replace it with one of the interchangeable Passier nosebands offered in the “Noseband” option. The labels use the Passier product name and article number, as shown on passier.com.

  • Caveson Special: anatomical French noseband with pull-back fastening and keeper for the noseband throatlash. Available with white lining, patent trim, or crystals.
  • Flash Noseband: combination noseband, French-style with throatlash. The “More Room for the Cheekbone” models clear the cheekbone and facial nerve.
  • Dropped Noseband: German (Hanoverian) noseband that passes beneath the bit.
  • Figure 8 Noseband: Mexican crossed noseband in a figure-eight design.

Any noseband other than the standard one is made to order by Passier: the alteration fee (€12) and any price difference for the noseband are already included in the displayed price of the variant. Nosebands 816, 819, 844, and 954 are only available in the sizes actually produced by Passier, which is why some sizes are unavailable for these models. Please allow approximately 30 days for production.

The little story...

I founded Sellerie Bucéphale in 2008, opening a shop in the Drôme department (in France) because, as a dressage rider, I could not find suitable equipment in the region. My presence quickly expanded through participation in dressage shows, local competitions, and national and international events.

To meet the needs of all riders, I developed a website, giving everyone access to high-quality technical products that have been tested and approved.

Since 2016, I have been based in the city of Orange (in France) and have been a partner of regional dressage circuits.

I strive to offer bespoke and customizable items, and I attach great importance to direct relationships with my customers.
