The lack of padding is not an oversight: Hunter tradition calls for a flat, narrow noseband that defines the head without making it look thicker. This is what the judge expects to see.
🧴 Care instructions
⚠️ Adjust the noseband so that two fingers fit over the nose, and the throatlash so that one flat hand fits underneath. An overly tight bridle does not make a horse more stable: it prevents the horse from chewing and swallowing. Clean with glycerin soap after each use, then oil the leather once it is dry. ⚠️ Never dry leather near a radiator: it will harden and crack.
