The double adjustment makes all the difference with a drop noseband: it allows you to position it at the correct height on the nose, regardless of the length of the horse's head, instead of being limited by the position imposed by the bridle.
🧴 Care instructions
⚠️ Adjust the noseband so that two fingers fit over the nasal bone, and the throatlash so that one flat hand fits underneath. An overly tight bridle does not make a horse more stable: it prevents the horse from chewing and swallowing. ⚠️ A drop noseband must never sit on the soft part of the nostrils. Clean with glycerine soap after each use, then condition once the leather is dry. ⚠️ Never dry leather near a radiator: it will harden and crack.
