A damp foot inside a closed boot heats up and eventually gets sore over a long day. Moisture regulation therefore matters just as much as thinness—and a thick sock in a fitted boot does exactly the opposite of what you want: it causes compression.

🧴 Care instructions

Try on your boots with the socks you will actually wear. ⚠️ Wash without fabric softener, as it reduces the elasticity of the ribbed cuff and clogs the fibres. Air-dry.

The little story...

I founded Sellerie Bucéphale in 2008, opening a shop in the Drôme department (in France) because, as a dressage rider, I could not find suitable equipment in the region. My presence quickly expanded through participation in dressage shows, local competitions, and national and international events.

To meet the needs of all riders, I developed a website, giving everyone access to high-quality technical products that have been tested and approved.

Since 2016, I have been based in the city of Orange (in France) and have been a partner of regional dressage circuits.

I strive to offer bespoke and customizable items, and I attach great importance to direct relationships with my customers.
