High-quality, lightweight polyester mesh fly sheet. The fine mesh provides good protection against flies and other insects. The chest is reinforced with an additional layer of mesh, and the mane area is lined with smooth 190T nylon.
The removable neck cover has two Velcro fastenings at the front and three elastic straps on top for attaching to a halter; it attaches to the sheet's D-rings with three elastic straps featuring quick-release buckles and Velcro. The belly strap is reinforced with a PU synthetic leather patch.

A fly sheet spends the summer outdoors, on a horse that rolls and rubs against things: the reinforcements at the chest and belly strap are positioned where it is most likely to give way first. A fly sheet creates a physical barrier between the insect and the skin: it is the only protection that does not evaporate or wash off in the rain, unlike repellents. 🧴 Care instructions
The mesh can be machine-washed at a low temperature, inside out to protect the fabric. ⚠️ Do not use fabric softener or tumble-dry: the fibres may become misshapen. Air-dry. ⚠️ For a sheet, the stated size is the back length: measure from the withers to the base of the tail, along the spine.
