A thick fleece, brushed on the inside, with a faux-fur collar: the rug you bring out for the horsebox and competition days.
The heavy fleece is much denser than a basic sweat rug, and its brushed underside increases the exchange surface: moisture leaves the coat quickly, so the horse does not get chilled during the journey. The faux-fur collar protects the poll strap area and the neck, two zones exposed to drafts in the horsebox. The inner crossed surcingle is removable, the low tail strap keeps the rug in place, and the chest fastens with a double swivel hook.
