🐎 Why choose this product?
A waterproof sheet is not a cold-weather rug: without padding, it keeps out rain and wind but does not provide warmth. This is what an unclipped horse living outdoors needs — it keeps its coat for warmth, while the sheet prevents it from becoming soaked. ⚠️ A clipped horse or one exposed to very cold weather needs padding.
🧴 Care and use advice
Brush the sheet when dry rather than washing it too often: every wash wears down the waterproof coating. ⚠️ Do not use fabric softener, as it clogs the breathable membrane. After a few seasons, a re-waterproofing product for technical textiles can restore its water repellency. ⚠️ The indicated size is the back length: measure your horse from the withers to the base of the tail, along the spine. A sheet that is too short pulls on the shoulders and rubs the withers; one that is too long shifts around and can cause the horse to catch its feet in it.
