Premiere XS 600D waterproof sheet with neck cover

Premiere unlined waterproof sheet: it protects against rain and wind. The outer fabric is 600D ripstop polyester with a waterproof coating and heat-sealed seams. The lining combines a 50/50 polyester-cotton blend with 190T nylon at the chest and lower section. Zinc hardware with a chrome finish.

The neck cover is integrated and fastens with Velcro. This XS version fits smaller sizes, with back lengths from 70 to 100 cm.

A waterproof sheet is not a cold-weather blanket: without filling, it blocks rain and wind but does not provide warmth. It is ideal for an unclipped horse living outdoors—the horse keeps its coat for warmth, while the sheet prevents it from getting soaked. ⚠️ For a clipped horse or in very cold weather, filling is required.

🧴 Care instructions

Brush the sheet while dry rather than washing it too often: every wash affects the waterproof coating. ⚠️ Do not use fabric softener, as it clogs the breathable membrane. After a few seasons, a re-waterproofing product for technical fabrics can restore the water-repellent finish. ⚠️ The size indicated is the back length: measure your horse from the withers to the base of the tail, along the spine. A sheet that is too short pulls on the shoulders and causes wither sores; one that is too long twists and may cause the horse to catch its feet in it.
