A cooler rug works through capillary action: the fleece draws moisture from the coat to the outside, where it evaporates. The horse dries without cooling down, helping prevent chills and muscle contractions after exercise. ⚠️ It is neither waterproof nor designed for turnout: it is a stable, transport and post-exercise rug.

🧴 Care instructions

The fleece can be machine-washed at a low temperature. ⚠️ Do not use fabric softener: it clogs the fibers and the fleece stops wicking away moisture. Air-dry only, never in a hot tumble dryer. ⚠️ The size indicated is the back length: measure your horse from the withers to the base of the tail, along the spine.

The little story...

I founded Sellerie Bucéphale in 2008 by opening a shop in the Drôme department (in France) because, as a dressage rider, I couldn’t find suitable equipment in the area. My presence quickly expanded by attending dressage competitions, local contests, and national and international events.

To meet the needs of all riders, I developed a website, allowing everyone to access high-quality technical products that are tested and approved.

Since 2016, I have been based in the city of Orange (in France) and am a partner of the regional dressage circuits.

I strive to offer custom-made and customizable items, and I place great importance on direct relationships with my customers.
