The compress every stall should keep in reserve. Animalintex is pre-cut to fit the hoof and impregnated with a disinfectant: it can be applied in seconds, whereas an ordinary compress requires cutting and makeshift solutions.
Its multi-layer structure allows four uses with a single product: moistened with hot water, it makes a poultice to draw out an abscess; with cold water, it soothes inflammation; dry, it can be used as a dressing or compression dressing. It is particularly suitable for sole and frog problems — bruising, cracks, thrush, and abscesses that are beginning to burst.

🐎 Why choose this product?
A hoof abscess does not give any warning. Keeping Animalintex in the tack room means you can apply a proper poultice that same evening, without improvising with whatever happens to be on hand.
🧴 Instructions for use
Pick out and clean the hoof. For a poultice, soak the compress in hot water, then wring it out before applying it with the plastic-coated side facing outwards. Secure it with a bandage and a protective hoof boot. Replace every 12 to 24 hours, and contact your veterinarian or farrier if the lameness persists.
