Essential protection against the flies responsible for sweet itch and biting insects in wet weather, this specialized rug is made from durable 400-denier diamond ripstop fabric.

Specifically designed to protect against sweet itch, it provides reinforced protection at the poll, withers, and above the tail, featuring a waterproof upper section and a breathable skirt offering full coverage under the belly.

The 3D wither padding provides comfort and breathability, while the antibacterial and anti-static lining on the back, shoulders, and neck prevents rubbing. The full neck cover, which closes over the ears, and the extra-long tail flap protect sensitive areas.

The little story...

I founded Sellerie Bucéphale in 2008 by opening a shop in the Drôme department (in France) because, as a dressage rider, I couldn’t find suitable equipment in the area. My presence quickly expanded by attending dressage competitions, local contests, and national and international events.

To meet the needs of all riders, I developed a website, allowing everyone to access high-quality technical products that are tested and approved.

Since 2016, I have been based in the city of Orange (in France) and am a partner of the regional dressage circuits.

I strive to offer custom-made and customizable items, and I place great importance on direct relationships with my customers.
