600-denier ripstop fabric, 3,000 mm water column, breathability of 3,000 g/m² over 24 hours. The rug is made without a back seam, with an extended wither: it is approximately 10 cm longer than the horse’s back, deliberately, so it sits in front of the withers, covers the shoulder and does not slide backward when the horse lowers its head. Optional thigh straps, low-set tail strap, large tail flap, crossed surcingles with elastic inserts, smooth lining and a double swivel hook closure backed with Velcro at the chest.

🧴 Care instructions
Fasten all the Velcro and place the rug in a thick laundry bag: without one, the hardware bangs against the drum, opens and rusts. Wash at 30 °C on a delicate cycle, using a special detergent for outdoor rugs. Do not re-waterproof it: the waterproofing comes from a coating applied to the back of the fabric, which water-repellent products damage. Once a year, a specialist dry cleaner can take care of the rest.
