The neck sweats just as much as the back, and it is often where the horse starts to cool down once standing still. A drying rug works through capillary action: the fleece draws moisture from the coat towards the outside, where it evaporates. The horse dries without getting cold, helping to prevent chills and muscles tightening after exercise. ⚠️ It is neither waterproof nor designed for turnout: it is a stable, transport and after-work rug.
🧴 Usage advice
Fleece can be machine washed at a low temperature. ⚠️ Do not use fabric softener: it clogs the fibres and prevents the fleece from wicking away moisture. Air-dry only, never in a hot tumble dryer. ⚠️ The stated size is the back length: measure your horse from the withers to the base of the tail, along the spine.
