This water-activated cooling rug is designed to gently complement other cooling methods (rehydration, shade, targeted hosing, walking) and help prevent heatstroke.
Unique water-reactive crystals housed in the lining pockets swell and retain the cold once soaked. The rug is not fully lined to promote evaporation and breathability, while its lightweight mesh encourages airflow.
Before first use, simply soak it for 4 hours to activate the crystals; it can be reactivated as often as necessary. For supervised use only; not suitable for turnout.
