The same wide tip as the square model, but with six sides instead of four: the wrench grips better and the head rounds off less quickly. W3/8 thread, the most widely used Whitworth thread size on tapped horseshoes in Europe. ⚠️ It is not compatible with a horseshoe tapped for M12: check the thread size of your stud holes before ordering.
🧴 Usage advice
Clean the stud hole with a tap and then a brush before screwing in the stud: forcing a stud into a dirty hole damages the horseshoe's thread. ⚠️ Remove the studs as soon as the competition is over and plug the stud holes: a horse that remains shod with studs in its stall, pasture, or trailer may injure itself when lying down or moving around.
