🐎 Why choose this product?
⚠️ The stated 13 mm refers to the wrench opening, not the width of the head. Six-sided rather than four-sided, it provides a more secure grip for the wrench and reduces the risk of rounding the head after repeated tightening. W3/8 thread, the most widely used Whitworth thread for tapped horseshoes in Europe. ⚠️ It is not compatible with an M12-tapped horseshoe: check the thread pitch of your stud holes before ordering.
🧴 Usage advice
Clean the stud hole with a tap and then a brush before screwing in the stud: forcing a stud into a dirty hole can damage the horseshoe's thread. ⚠️ Remove the studs as soon as the competition is over and plug the stud holes: a horse that remains shod with studs in its stall, pasture, or trailer can injure itself when lying down or moving around.
