🐎 Why choose this product?
A pointed stud digs into hard or dry ground, where a flat head would slip. This is the model for dry midsummer conditions. W3/8 thread, the most widely used Whitworth thread size on threaded horseshoes in Europe. ⚠️ It is not compatible with an M12-threaded horseshoe: check the thread size of your stud holes before ordering.
🧴 Usage advice
Clean the stud hole with a tap and then a brush before screwing in the stud: forcing a stud into a dirty hole damages the horseshoe's thread. ⚠️ Remove the studs as soon as the competition ends and plug the stud holes: a horse left shod with studs in its stall, pasture, or trailer may injure itself while lying down or moving around.
