The Prince of Wales spur is the classic spur: a straight shank ending in a rounded tip, with no rowel or roller. This is the children’s version, for boot sizes below 36: the smallest branches in the range. The branches are covered with rubber: the covering cushions contact with the boot and prevents it from being marked.
Stainless steel, with one shank length — 15 mm.

🐎 Why choose this product?
With a spur, two things are chosen separately. The branch size depends on your foot: ladies’ for sizes 36 to 40, men’s from size 41, with longer and more widely spaced branches, and children’s below size 36. Branches that are too wide slide along the boot, and the spur ends up beneath the heel.
The shank length is not chosen by a fixed rule: it depends on the horse, your leg position, and the level of the competitions you enter. If you are unsure, ask us — we will assess it on a case-by-case basis.
🧴 Usage advice
Position the spurs at the boot’s heel seam, with the longer branch facing outward, and secure them with straps suited to their width.
Composition: stainless steel, rubber covering.
