A spiral hairpin makes all the difference: instead of being pushed in, it screws into the bun as you turn it. It therefore cannot work its way out on its own at the trot or canter, unlike a straight hairpin that gradually rises out.

Its head features small imitation diamonds arranged in a flower shape, measuring 3 cm in diameter.
