KK loose ring single jointed - Sensogan

The KK is the bit for horses that lean on the contact. As long as the contact remains light, it acts like an ordinary single-jointed snaffle; as soon as the horse leans on the hand, its curved joint directs pressure towards the edges of the tongue and the lower jaw. With 70 mm loose rings, this is the KK for everyday work, available with four mouthpiece diameters.

Key features

  • When the rein is used, pressure on the edges of the tongue and the lower jaw is more pronounced than with a classic single-jointed bit.
  • For strong horses that do not respond sufficiently to standard single- or double-jointed bits.
  • For horses that lean on the bit and use the reins like a fifth leg.
  • Also a good choice for horses with tongue issues.
  • 12, 14, 16 or 18 mm mouthpiece, with 70 mm stainless steel loose rings. The 12 mm version is available in pony sizes.

The Sensogan finish

  • Patented alloy of copper, manganese and zinc, which promotes a continuous flow of saliva and relaxation of the mouth.
  • White-gold appearance, long-lasting shine and easier maintenance than Aurigan.
  • Toxicologically tested and recognised as non-toxic.

The little story...

I founded Sellerie Bucéphale in 2008, opening a shop in the Drôme department (in France) because, as a dressage rider, I could not find suitable equipment in the region. My presence quickly expanded through participation in dressage shows, local competitions, and national and international events.

To meet the needs of all riders, I developed a website, giving everyone access to high-quality technical products that have been tested and approved.

Since 2016, I have been based in the city of Orange (in France) and have been a partner of regional dressage circuits.

I strive to offer bespoke and customizable items, and I attach great importance to direct relationships with my customers.
