🐎 Why choose this product?
With equal rein pressure, a thin mouthpiece is felt more than a thick one because the pressure is distributed over a smaller surface area. The 16 mm mouthpiece strikes a balance: thick enough to remain gentle, yet thin enough to keep the aids clear.
🧴 Usage advice
Measure the width from one ring to the other, with the mouthpiece stretched out. ⚠️ A bit that is too narrow pinches the corners of the mouth; one that is too wide moves around in the mouth and knocks against the teeth. Allow approximately half a centimetre of mouthpiece to show on each side.
