🐎 Why choose this product?
A thick mouthpiece distributes pressure over a larger surface area and is therefore less noticeable. However, the horse must have enough room for it: in a shallow mouth or with a thick tongue, an 18 mm mouthpiece may instead cause discomfort.
🧴 Usage tips
Measure the width from one ring to the other, with the mouthpiece held taut. ⚠️ A bit that is too narrow pinches the corners of the mouth; one that is too wide moves around in the mouth and knocks against the teeth. Allow approximately half a centimetre of visible mouthpiece on each side.
