The ANKY tailcoat has a distinctive cut, tailored for high-level dressage.

Its flat collar and weighted tails are the two details that matter on horseback: the collar does not rise at the nape, and the tails do not fly up at the canter. Reference ATJ005.

A tailcoat is judged in the saddle, not standing in front of a mirror. Two flaws immediately catch the judges' eyes: a collar that gapes at the nape and tails that lift up. The weighting and flat collar address both issues, and that is what sets a competition tailcoat apart from a long jacket.

🧴 Care instructions

Try it on seated, never standing: it is in the riding position that a tailcoat pulls at the shoulders or opens up. Dry-clean only; store it on a wide hanger in a garment bag.

The little story...

I founded Sellerie Bucéphale in 2008 by opening a shop in the Drôme department (in France) because, as a dressage rider, I couldn’t find suitable equipment in the area. My presence quickly expanded by attending dressage competitions, local contests, and national and international events.

To meet the needs of all riders, I developed a website, allowing everyone to access high-quality technical products that are tested and approved.

Since 2016, I have been based in the city of Orange (in France) and am a partner of the regional dressage circuits.

I strive to offer custom-made and customizable items, and I place great importance on direct relationships with my customers.
