How to read the table: for an equivalent rider height, the L-L and XL-L versions have the same heights as L and XL, respectively, but with larger chest, waist and hip measurements and a longer back length. These are the roomier versions, for larger body types.
⚠️ They use a 100 cc cartridge, whereas sizes S to XL take a 60 cc cartridge.

Chest, waist and hip measurements are taken over the equipment: the vest is worn over clothing and rigid protectors.
The vest must extend 10 cm below the iliac crest, with enough room for a closed fist between the chest and the vest.
The back length (E) is measured from the base of the neck to the small of the back.

AirJacket

The reference airbag vest for cross-country competitions. It is worn over all equipment and offers optimal protection while ensuring excellent freedom of movement.

Technology

Large protective volume : Helite airbags offer a very large protective volume (between 14 and 28 L depending on the airbag size). The unique shape of the Helite airbag helps support and stabilize the body from the nape of the neck to the coccyx and prevent serious injuries.
Mechanical system: a reliable, simple and robust system. Simply attach the airbag vest to the horse’s saddle using the stirrup-leather strap. The airbag inflates when the strap detaches.
Reusable: the system can be reactivated by the rider in under 2 minutes. Simply replace the used gas cartridge with a new cartridge of the same capacity.

Very light weight of 900 g

Airbag protection: large volume between 14 and 28 L depending on the airbag size
Very fast inflation in under 100 ms.
Neck protection: the collar opens when the airbag inflates to effectively support the head and neck.
Comfort: soft collar and large armholes for greater freedom of movement.
Technical textile and resistant to tearing and multiple inflations.
Ventilation: 3D Mesh lining inside the vest.
Adjustable: 3 straps allow the vest to be adjusted and worn over any equipment.
Buckles: sturdy and durable, opening and closing easily.
Composition: vest 100% polyester, airbag 100% polyurethane.

It is important that the vest extends 10 cm below the iliac crest and that there is enough room for a clenched fist between the chest and the vest.
