A pony ridden by a child is just as likely to interfere as a horse: it offers the same protection, simply scaled down, with colors riders will love. A boot protects the inside of the cannon bone and fetlock, where the opposite limb can strike when the horse interferes or turns sharply. It is designed to be worn during work, not in the field or stall: if worn continuously, it makes the limb sweat instead of protecting it.
🧴 Usage instructions
Place it on a clean, dry limb, with the shell facing outward and the fasteners directed toward the back and outward. Tighten it so that you can slide one finger between the boot and the cannon bone. ⚠️ Remove them as soon as the session ends. Rinse with clean water after each use and leave to air-dry, never on a radiator. Regularly check the condition of the Velcro fasteners, as these are the first part to fail.
