Nylabone has been making chew toys since 1955. The principle is simple: dogs need to chew, and it's better for them to chew on an object designed for that purpose than on a table leg. As the dog chews, the nylon fibers lift and act like the bristles of a toothbrush: they rub against the enamel, reduce plaque, and massage the gums.
Dogs chew by natural instinct, so you might as well give them something to chew on. This toy is less hard than the Extreme range, making it suitable for moderate chewers and senior dogs, whose teeth can no longer handle the densest nylon.
