TURNADO Full Cheek 16 mm - Stainless steel
The long cheeks frame the mouth and prevent the bit from sliding: ideal for a young horse looking for guidance, or one that escapes through the shoulder. Inside, the TURNADO’s 45° angled joint distributes the two arms of the mouthpiece evenly across the tongue, whereas a standard single-jointed bit always applies slightly more pressure on one side.
Key features
- 45° forward-angled joint, a design unique to the TURNADO range.
- The mouthpiece’s contact surface is identical on both sides of the tongue.
- Equal action on both edges of the tongue.
- The fixed cheeks transmit the action directly to the tongue and lower jaw.
- Lateral contact helps horses that tend to escape outward, both during work and when approaching a jump.
- The sandblasted mouthpiece indicates the angle of the joint.
- 16 mm single-jointed mouthpiece.
Stainless steel finish
- Neutral in the mouth, highly durable, and requiring no special maintenance.
- A long-lasting choice at an affordable price.
