Bemelmans Weymouth 14 mm - Sensogan

The Bemelmans is designed to stay in place: its barrel, curved upwards and forwards, distributes pressure across the entire tongue, while its tongue relief, narrowed to 13 mm, frees the palate.

The horse no longer wants to put its tongue over or retract it, and the snaffle bit easily finds its place behind the curb bit.

Pony version, 115 mm, with 7 cm shanks.

Sensogan is Sprenger's proprietary alloy, made from copper and manganese: it promotes regular, continuous salivation, relaxes the jaw, oxidises very little and retains its golden shine for a long time. All Sensogan bits have two black rings on the sides.
