Weymouth bit "FC" 14 mm with short cheeks
The "FC" Weymouth bit has a forward-angled mouthpiece and a rounded tongue relief: pressure is distributed finely across the tongue, without any hard pressure point.
The 5 cm short cheeks provide a more direct action and less leverage than long cheeks: this is the recommended version for beginning to use a Weymouth bridle.
The Weymouth bit sits lower than the bridoon, where the mouth narrows: allow for 1/2 to 1 cm less than your bridoon size.
Sensogan is Sprenger's proprietary alloy, made from copper and manganese: it promotes regular, continuous salivation, relaxes the jaw, oxidizes very little and retains its golden shine for a long time. All Sensogan bits have two black circles on the sides.
