A 2.5-ring bit made of soft synthetic material, with a medium tongue-relief mouthpiece.

✨ Key features

  • ✔ The Inno Sense collection is made from synthetic material that is significantly softer than metal and contains no plasticizers. Horses follow the hand easily and quickly accept this type of mouthpiece.
  • ✔ Straight mouthpiece with medium tongue relief: more room for the tongue and less pressure on its center.
  • ✔ A gentler version of the three-ring (Pessoa) bit: leverage is present and becomes more direct when the rein is attached lower down. The loose rings allow the bit more movement than a fixed-ring version.

📋 Technical specifications

🐎 Why choose this product?

The most common compromise between pressure on the bars and tongue freedom.

🧴 Usage advice

⚠️ Bit size is given in millimetres: it is the width of the mouthpiece from one ring to the other. A 125 measures 12.5 cm. Measure your horse's mouth with a bit ruler, or use the measurement of the bit it wears: if too wide, the bit moves around and pinches; if too narrow, it tightens the corners of the mouth. Choose the thickness according to the mouth: a thick mouthpiece distributes pressure over a larger surface, but takes up too much room in a shallow mouth or with a thick tongue. ⚠️ Leverage acts on the poll: use it with a light hand and check the cheekpiece adjustment. ⚠️ Inspect the mouthpiece regularly: when correctly positioned on the bars, it rarely gets damaged, but a sharp tooth can nick it.

About TRUST Equestrian ...

TRUST Equestrian is a Dutch brand specializing in bits and leatherwork. Its bits are designed, developed, and manufactured in the Netherlands, where a team of technicians assembles them by hand. Production of Sweet Iron mouthpieces began more than fifteen years ago, followed by Leather and then Inno Sense mouthpieces. The range now includes three materials, twenty-two mouthpieces, and thirty-four types of shanks, totaling more than two thousand different bits. TRUST bits are anatomically shaped: slightly curved, they follow the shape of the horse’s mouth. The leather collection is made from European full-grain leather, and each model takes the anatomy of the modern horse into account.
