A loose-ring bit with large rings made of soft synthetic material, with a single-jointed mouthpiece.

✨ Key features

  • ✔ The Inno Sense collection is made from a synthetic material that is significantly softer than metal, without plasticizers. Horses readily follow the hand and quickly accept this type of mouthpiece.
  • ✔ Single joint. This mouthpiece applies less pressure to the tongue than a double-jointed one and works mainly on the bars and the sides of the tongue. It is the standard mouthpiece.
  • ✔ The rings slide freely through the mouthpiece, and their large diameter provides more leverage than a standard ring.

📋 Technical specifications

  • Type: loose-ring bit with large rings
  • Material: Inno Sense
  • Mouthpiece: single-jointed

🐎 Why choose this product?

This is the mouthpiece most horses are familiar with: the one to start with, and to return to when you want to determine what comes from the bit and what comes from the rider's hand.

🧴 How to use

⚠️ Bit size is given in millimetres: it is the width of the mouthpiece from one ring to the other. A 125 measures 12.5 cm. Measure your horse's mouth with a bit ruler, or use the measurement of the bit it wears: if it is too wide, the bit moves around and pinches; if it is too narrow, it tightens the corners of the mouth. ⚠️ Fit rubber bit guards: it is between the moving ring and the mouthpiece that the corner of the mouth gets pinched. ⚠️ Check the mouthpiece regularly: when correctly positioned on the bars, it rarely gets damaged, but a sharp tooth can nick it.

About TRUST Equestrian ...

TRUST Equestrian is a Dutch brand specializing in bits and leatherwork. Its bits are designed, developed, and manufactured in the Netherlands, where a team of technicians assembles them by hand. Production of Sweet Iron mouthpieces began more than fifteen years ago, followed by Leather and then Inno Sense mouthpieces. The range now includes three materials, twenty-two mouthpieces, and thirty-four types of shanks, totaling more than two thousand different bits. TRUST bits are anatomically shaped: slightly curved, they follow the shape of the horse’s mouth. The leather collection is made from European full-grain leather, and each model takes the anatomy of the modern horse into account.
