- ✔ Elastic material that is harder than Port Medium and difficult to bend. The tongue relief reduces pressure on the center of the tongue.
- ✔ A combination of a Pelham and a loose-ring elevator bit: a loose ring with two holes on each side, through which a leather strap passes. The pressure points are the chin and poll. It can be used with one or two reins.

🧴 Usage advice
⚠️ A bit size is given in millimetres: it is the width of the mouthpiece from one ring to the other. A 125 measures 12.5 cm. Measure your horse's mouth with a measuring gauge, or measure the bit it currently wears: if it is too wide, the bit moves around and pinches; if it is too narrow, it squeezes the corners of the mouth. Choose the thickness according to the mouth: a thick mouthpiece distributes pressure over a larger surface, but takes up space in a shallow mouth or one with a thick tongue. ⚠️ Combined leverage and curb-chain action: reserved for experienced riders. ⚠️ Check the mouthpiece regularly: when correctly positioned on the bars, it rarely becomes damaged, but a sharp tooth can nick it.
