A Kimblewick bit made from flexible synthetic material, with a curved straight (mullen) mouthpiece.

✨ Key features

  • ✔ The Inno Sense collection is made from synthetic material that is significantly softer than metal and contains no plasticizers. Horses follow the hand easily and quickly accept this type of mouthpiece.
  • ✔ One-piece mouthpiece, slightly curved forward. With no joint, it distributes pressure across the entire tongue.
  • ✔ Similar to a Pelham, but with more direct action. It can be used with one or two reins: the lower the rein is attached, the greater the leverage. It can also be used as a driving bit.

📋 Technical specifications

  • Type: Kimblewick bit
  • Material: Inno Sense
  • Mouthpiece: curved straight (mullen)
  • Mouthpiece thickness: 20 mm
  • Sizes (mm): 125 / 135 / 145

🐎 Why choose this product?

With no joint, nothing closes onto the tongue: this is the mouthpiece for horses that do not tolerate a pinching effect.

🧴 Usage advice

⚠️ Bit size is given in millimetres: this is the width of the mouthpiece from one ring to the other. A 125 measures 12.5 cm. Measure your horse's mouth with a bit ruler, or use the measurement of the bit it wears: if too wide, the bit moves around and pinches; if too narrow, it tightens the corners of the mouth. ⚠️ A curb chain is essential. ⚠️ Check the mouthpiece regularly: when correctly positioned on the bars, it rarely gets damaged, but a sharp tooth can nick it.

About TRUST Equestrian ...

TRUST Equestrian is a Dutch brand specializing in bits and leatherwork. Its bits are designed, developed, and manufactured in the Netherlands, where a team of technicians assembles them by hand. Production of Sweet Iron mouthpieces began more than fifteen years ago, followed by Leather and then Inno Sense mouthpieces. The range now includes three materials, twenty-two mouthpieces, and thirty-four types of shanks, totaling more than two thousand different bits. TRUST bits are anatomically shaped: slightly curved, they follow the shape of the horse’s mouth. The leather collection is made from European full-grain leather, and each model takes the anatomy of the modern horse into account.
