The most comfortable mouthpiece in the range: the one to use in the mouth of a young horse or a horse that has been marked by a metal bit.
🧴 Usage advice
⚠️ A bit size is given in millimetres: it is the width of the mouthpiece from one ring to the other. A 125 measures 12.5 cm. Measure your horse's mouth with a ruler, or use the measurement of the bit it wears: if too wide, the bit moves around and pinches; if too narrow, it tightens the corners of the mouth. Choose the thickness according to the mouth: a thick mouthpiece distributes pressure over a larger surface, but takes up too much room in a shallow mouth or with a thick tongue. ⚠️ With a single rein, a Pelham rounding is required between the large ring and the lower ring. A curb chain is essential. ⚠️ Check the mouthpiece regularly: when correctly positioned on the bars, it rarely becomes damaged, but a sharp tooth can nick it. ⚠️ Flexi Soft is not well suited to strong horses: its flexibility does not provide support.
