A Pelham bit made of flexible synthetic material, with a Port Hard barrel and tongue relief.
✨ Key features
- ✔ The Inno Sense collection is made from a synthetic material that is significantly softer than metal, with no plasticizers. Horses readily follow the hand and quickly accept this type of barrel.
- ✔ An elastic material that is harder than Port Medium and difficult to bend. The tongue relief reduces pressure on the center of the tongue.
- ✔ Combined-leverage shank: it acts simultaneously on the poll, behind the ears, and on the chin. It can be used with one or two reins.
- ✔ This tongue freedom is suitable for horses with sensitive tongues or that stick their tongues out.

🧴 Usage advice
⚠️ Bit size is given in millimetres: it is the width of the barrel from one ring to the other. A 125 measures 12.5 cm. Measure your horse's mouth with a bit measuring tool, or use the measurement of the bit it currently wears: if it is too wide, the bit moves around and pinches; if it is too narrow, it presses on the corners of the mouth. Choose the thickness according to the mouth: a thick barrel distributes pressure over a larger surface, but takes up too much room in a shallow mouth or with a thick tongue. ⚠️ With a single rein, a Pelham rounding is required between the large ring and the lower ring. A curb chain is essential. ⚠️ Check the barrel regularly: when correctly positioned on the bars, it rarely becomes damaged, but a sharp tooth can wear it down.
