A Liverpool bit with two slots and rotating cheeks, made of blue-patinated sweet iron, with a low tongue port.
✨ Key features
- ✔ Sweet Iron is mild steel blued during manufacturing by heating. When exposed to humid air and saliva, it develops a surface oxidation with a sweet taste that naturally stimulates salivation: the horse chews more and accepts the bit better.
- ✔ Straight mouthpiece with a low tongue port. It leaves a little more room for the tongue and distributes pressure correctly over the bars.
- ✔ Driving bit with two adjustment slots, with a mouthpiece that pivots on the cheeks: the action is applied more progressively than with fixed cheeks.

🐎 Why choose this product?
A little room for the tongue without raising the bit toward the palate: the first step toward greater tongue freedom when a simple joint presses too much in the center.
🧴 Care and use instructions
⚠️ Bit size is given in millimeters: this is the width of the mouthpiece from ring to ring. A 125 measures 12.5 cm. Measure your horse's mouth with a bit measuring tool, or use the measurement of the bit it wears: too wide, the bit moves around and pinches; too narrow, it tightens the corners of the mouth. ⚠️ Driving bit: adjust both sides to the same slot. A curb chain is essential. ⚠️ The blue color turns silver-gray or brown-gray with use, and an orange film appears when the bit remains unused: this is normal Sweet Iron behavior, not a defect. A wipe with a damp cloth is enough to remove it. This oxidation is not harmful.
