🧴 Usage advice
⚠️ Bit size is given in millimetres: this is the width of the mouthpiece from one ring to the other. A 125 measures 12.5 cm. Measure your horse's mouth with a bit ruler, or use the measurement of the bit it wears: if it is too wide, the bit moves around and pinches; if it is too narrow, it tightens the corners of the mouth. ⚠️ Fit rubber bit guards: it is between the movable ring and the mouthpiece that the corner of the mouth gets pinched. ⚠️ The blue colour turns silver-grey or brown-grey with use, and an orange coating appears when the bit remains unused: this is the normal functioning of Sweet Iron, not a defect. A wipe with a damp cloth is enough to remove it. This oxidation is not harmful.
