KK D-Ring - Sensogan
The KK is the bit for horses that lean on the contact: with a light contact, it acts like an ordinary snaffle; when the horse leans on the hand, the curved joint directs pressure toward the edges of the tongue and the lower jaw. Fitted with 80 mm D-rings, it provides clear lateral support, valuable for a horse that escapes through the shoulder or evades at the approach to a jump.
Key features
- When the rein is used, pressure on the edges of the tongue and the lower jaw is more pronounced than with a conventional single-jointed bit.
- For strong horses that do not respond sufficiently to conventional single- or double-jointed bits.
- For horses that lean on the bit and use the reins as a fifth leg.
- The fixed cheeks transmit the action directly to the tongue and lower jaw.
- Remains stable in the mouth and is gentle on the corners of the mouth.
- The lateral contact helps horses that tend to escape outward, both during work and when approaching a jump.
- 12 or 16 mm mouthpiece, with 80 mm stainless-steel D-rings. The 12 mm version is available in pony sizes.
The Sensogan finish
- Patented alloy of copper, manganese and zinc that promotes a continuous flow of saliva and relaxation of the mouth.
- White-gold appearance, long-lasting shine and easier care than Aurigan.
- Toxicologically tested and recognized as non-toxic.
