MAX-Control D-Ring 16 mm with locking mechanism - Stainless steel
The Verdun Max-Control bit: fixed D-rings transmit the rein action directly, protect the corners of the mouth and provide slight lateral guidance; the double-jointed mouthpiece locks when the horse pulls and releases as soon as the horse yields.
Key features
- Double-jointed Verdun Max-Control bit.
- For training and correcting the horse.
- Locks at a certain angle and acts like a straight bit; unlocks as soon as the contact softens.
- The fixed branches transmit the action directly to the tongue and lower jaw.
- Stays stable in the mouth and is gentle on the corners.
- The lateral contact helps horses that escape outward, both during training and when approaching a fence.
- 16 mm mouthpiece.
The Max-Control mechanism
- At a glance, there is nothing to distinguish a Max-Control from a standard double-jointed bit.
- At a certain angle — when the rider firmly takes up the rein or the horse pulls hard — the mouthpiece locks and briefly forms a straight bar. The effect is gentle, while still allowing precise communication.
- As soon as the horse yields and the contact becomes light again, the bit unlocks immediately.
- A training and correction bit, also suitable for sensitive mouths when used with a soft hand.
The stainless steel finish
- Neutral in the mouth, highly durable and requiring no special maintenance.
