This curb chain guard has two features that simple models do not. First, its suede leather inner side is intentionally rough: it grips the chain and prevents the guard from turning, a common issue with smooth curb chain guards. Second, it has a slot for the central ring, allowing you to attach a false curb chain.
It attaches to the chain with two snap fasteners. Dimensions: 12.5 x 3.5 cm.

🧴 Care and use
⚠️ A guard cannot compensate for a curb chain that is adjusted too tightly: the curb chain should engage when the bit rotates approximately 45° and should allow two fingers to pass underneath when at rest. Lay the chain flat before attaching the guard. Clean with glycerin soap, then apply leather grease.
